COVID-19 Information and Updates

COVID Policy Updates:

Masks are now optional! Please do what makes you comfortable!

Most of the information below still applies regarding cleaning protocols and time between clients, but most restrictions are now lifted.

Please contact me with any questions!

New COVID Safety Precautions for Massage Therapy

1) Thorough handwashing before and after every client. This is something I do anyway and will continue, but just want to reiterate the importance of handwashing!

2) Disposable headrest covers and using an extra sheet layer underneath each new set of sheets on the table for each client in order to make sanitizing between clients more efficient.

3) Per existing state safety guidelines, masks are required. I will wear a mask during all appointments and clients will be required to have their own masks as well. If laying face down is too uncomfortable with a mask in the headrest, clients may adjust this as needed off of their nose or mouth but will need to replace the mask to full coverage when laying face up on the table.

4) Limiting the number of clients each day to minimize traffic in and out of the massage space.

5) Increasing the time between each client to about 30-45min in order to minimize any overlap between clients and to allow for enough time to sanitize surfaces , change sheets, and air out the massage space. (Note: back-to-back appointments may be possible for family members/couples, those that live together, etc. Please contact me directly to arrange this since I have updated my online scheduling to not allow this)

6) Hand sanitizer will be available at all times in the massage space for clients to use.

7) There is no waiting area so please wait in your car in the lot if you arrive early enough to be present during a massage still in session before yours.

8) There is no direct restroom access in the massage space and this is studio space attached to our home; so please keep this in mind upon arriving for your appointment. If needed, clients may have access to the bathroom inside our home but we would ideally like to limit this as much as possible to avoid too much traffic into our personal space.

9) If you are in a high-risk category of COVID19, please consider holding off on scheduling and stay the course of social distancing.

7) If you are sick or have been at risk of exposure to COVID19, please contact me to cancel. There will be no cancellation fees, even last-minute. I will be very lenient on any cancellation fees for the time being. If I am sick, I will of course do the same on my end and thank you in advance for your understanding should that situation arise.
